I found this in a bag of foreign coins. While I'm aware this is not a super valuable token given the historical value I think it deserves better and it appears to be in decent shape underneath all that crud. I'm planning on sending some coins to NGC soon and I'm thinking of sending this along for conservation. Anyone have experience with NGC conserving white metal tokens? Am I just wasting my money? All comments appreciated.

This should be easy to track down the official number listing if you have the book. But the problem is the condition. I have sent about a dozen of these type for grading. But not in that condition.
I have read that even if the conversation is successful what is under the corrosion could make it ungradable but that is just my opinion.
Once you figure out the resale of this one then maybe you can go forward. Good luck and I bet someone here can help. Later I will review and see if I can help identify them.

Patriotic die 189 on the reverse might be it. Can't post a picture right now but could be a good starting point.
