Two 1999-P New Jersey Quarters Weigh Different Amounts?

No fix on them, but they get out, so I feel they weights are not checked all that close. (Probably on quarters mainly. mastaplanna New Member United States 33 Posts	Posted 05/07/2021 07:32 am "Gold coins are set to a much stricter tolerance, especially as the weight increases" this contradicts itself...it shows the lower weight and lower value coins having a lower tolerance (as expected)...a double eagle has a .04 while the lighter coins, 1/2, 3$, 1/4 a full has .02 - if the statement were true, then the double eagle should fall to .01 (or so) not go up to .04 Report this Post to the Staff
