Can anyone help me (and some others) with the identification of the markings on this (and some other) Iranian coin.
I mean the marking a the bottom. They seem to be a double letter, but I can't find any resources on what it means. Is it year mark? Designer mark? Mint mark?

It's not a year-mark or mintmark. My guess would be the designer's signature.

It ia a swan and the privy mark of the Berlin mint.
You can find it on many coins and medals dating from approx. 1930 until 1955.
