You say that like it's a bad thing  doing a type set, it is sure satisfying to kill 4 birds with 1 stone, so nice progress today, those coins look super.

The first "old" coin I ever bought was an 1808 Half Cent. I remember I saw an ad for it in Numismatic News--this was around 1972. The ad's description said "Scr.", which I took to mean "scarce." It actually meant "scratch," for a scratch to the left of Lady Liberty. Otherwise, the coin is in fine shape. It currently resides in my 7070.

This is the first coin I started with. My father started me with it in 1959 or 60 and haven't looked back since. My photographic skills suck, but it's BU+.
