Found this in a box of foreign coins some time ago at my local LCS and was a part of their pricing at 12 coins for $2.00. I gently asked them if they knew they accidentally put a CWT in there, and they were just a tad surprised and glad I said something. They then included it for the same price as all the other foreign finds as well, as they knew me as a repeat customer.

ND(1863) patriotic CWT, Fuld-299/350 dies, union cannon, army and navy, grades a nice AU to me.

A few of mine from over the years:

1865 over 3 UK penny, picked up for 50 centimes (then 10C US) in France in 1976

Really nice French 1882A 50 centimes, was 5p (then about 3 cents) in my local Antique Center in the mid-1980s

1857 Seated Liberty quarter - cost me all of 10p (then about 14c) from a tray of coins in an Antique shop in Plymouth, England in the 1990s.

I once found a VF ish 1913-S TY-2 Buffalo nickel in a LCS 65 cent buffalo bin, employees were notified and they decided to honor the 65 cent price tag. I declined and returned the coin to the coin shop as I don't want to profit off someone's mistake. they thanked me for it.
I guess they saw it as a token of good faith, too, as I am now good friends to the owners and employees, and working in the shop as a intern.(too young to be hired) owner did say he will hire me when he can though. so yeah, job oppotunity, got WAY more than what I bargained for that day, great people and coin shop, can't complain.

also once found a AU details, cleaned 1905-P IHC at a local coin show dealer junk bin for 50 cents. sold it some times later.
