Just curious but it has been almost a year and a half since Biden took office and they haven't started to print the new series notes. Does anyone know why?

Ah, I have also been wondering why no new series notes have been printed yet.
It's pretty strange that the position has been vacant for so long (according to wikipedia 867 days and counting), especially since no confirmation by the US Senate is necessary anymore.

President Biden has finally found a woman to hold the office.
Ms Marilynn "Lynn" Malerba.

Wondering how long it will take before her and Ms Yellen's signatures will appear on the US banknotes.
In other words: The start of new banknote series is coming soon. Hopefully.

It will be the first time that both signatures on United States paper money will both be women. That's kinda cool.

It says that her appointment to the office, which does not require Senate confirmation, means that the Bureau of Engraving and Printing can now proceed with production of a new series of Federal Reserve notes bearing the signatures of the Biden administration's Treasury secretary and U.S. treasurer rather than the signatures of Trump appointees. It will likely be some months before production of the new series begins.

President Joe Biden on June 21 announced the appointment of Mutáwi Mutáhash (Many Hearts) Marilynn "Lynn" Malerba, lifetime chief of the Mohegan tribe, to serve as treasurer of the United States. Malerba is the first Native American to serve as the nation's treasurer. Malerba's appointment as treasurer will also mean that for the first time in U.S. history, a Native woman's signature will be seen on the nation's currency.
