Both are normal. Coin wear is the differences. Back in that day, a dime was used to purchase a bottle or can of soda. So a lot of these coins were worn more in vending machines or in casinos. The relief is the same on all dies that year for either proof or business strike coins. The difference? On a proof dime, the design is struck twice to enhance the devices. (It doesn't make the devices taller, just normal relief size, jut showing more details stronger. (Also proof dies are only used for 6K strike for 3k coins) A business strike die could strike as many as a million coins. Thus die wear is seen more on business strike coins.

There is, but the reliefs are different. These would probably only have value of the coin was BU. (I was looking for the listing in my Red Book, but no mention?) It was in the CPG listings: Note the money values.

They look normal to me just in different stages of wear.

Just normal heavily circulated dimes. Some wear more than others, some get more nicks, dings and scratches.

the dime on the left does appear to have the deep valleys in its flame, making it the so-called high-relief version, a cool find IMO
