Hi all,
Uncirculated Peace dollars are very difficult for me to grade. Although this is a common coin, I figured it's a good piece to practice on. Is this an ms62 piece?
Thanks in advance,
Zac

Full Uncirculated, unbroken luster; MS63
There are a few light marks from roll or bag handling (for evidence see the black toning mark on the reverse where the rim of another coin was lain on top)
The light milky-colored discoloration spots on the reverse are typical for Peace dollars.

MS63 for me. Not too many scratches to bring the grade down to 62.

I think you are correct at MS-62. I look at the eagle's shoulder for rub first. Peace dollars can certainly be tough to grade.
