I went to an estate sale yesterday and picked up 5 pennies that I am assuming have errors? 1955 Wheat penny has no mint mark and is 180 degree reversed on the other side where the wheat is. They are all like this for the 1961 and 63's. Can you review and tell me if this is something or just a cool find? My photos are too big and I will need to retake them and upload them later tonight. SamCoin Pillar of the Community United States 2729 Posts	Posted 09/27/2022 01:55 am No mint mark means Philadelphia and all US coins are struck with a 180° rotation between the obverse and reverse so that when flipped end over end the image will still be right side up. This is called coin alignment (as opposed to medallion alignment when they are oriented the same way).
