Help Needed With 1858 Pe-8 Halfpenny.

Hello!

I would appreciate help with two things. One is a general question. The other regards grading a specific coin.

1. I know that there are two varieties of this coin....PE-8A1 (Thick flan) & PE-8A2 (Thin flan). Is there any visual evidence that will mark these coins as one or the other, or is it strictly on weight (or....?). In other words, is there any way to see images of these coins & be able to determine which variety they are?

2. Just looking for opinions on the grade.

Thanks NYG for the grade!

Just to clarify on identification. There is no way to look at the pictures and know whether it is thick or thin, right? I thought maybe one had a deeper strike than the other, or the rims might look different, etc.

Obviously, if I could weigh it, I would know (5.5 g vs 6.5 g).
