2001 d Kentucky quarter what causes it to look like there's smoke coming off the building and I'm not going to ask about the k since it's only one that affected it's probably just circulation damage

Altered coin. Something on the coin, that wasn't there during the strike.

That one looks like some form of stain or substance on the coin. There has been a error on a 2021 p tuskegee airman quarter where the building looked like it had smoke coming out like a burning building but that was an error due to a strike through to see the difference. I have a couple of those.

Yes I have 2 I found myself looking through change, one below. The one in the video is not one of mine just had some info he shared about the coin I thought to share with you since it relates to a smoking building on a coin rather than typing it. There are others of this coin out there and each looks slightly different so keep an eye on the tuskeegee quarters you come across - for example this one looks like bombs are dropping also that arent in the design normally when I looked.
