Recently came across this in my fathers collection and was wondering if anyone could give me any info as to composition and value. It is non magnetic. Thanks!

It is made of white metal and has a value of $30-50.00,
depending on condition.

@1960NYGiants what catalog would that be, I don't collect these and as I mentioned found it in my fathers collection. He had some interesting stuff.

Dr. Joseph LeRoux published a catalogue in 1892. It was reprinted in 1983. Here is a link to a copy on eBay.

Thank-you for the info 1960NYGiants, I see there are some of these for sale on the bay but most are holed. I'm liking this piece even more.

Yeah, most I've seen on eBay are holed white metal examples. The one you have is an attractive example. There is also a bronze version that you don't see as often.
