I got this coin along with some others a few years ago, this 1960 is in Really good shape & has a lot going on! I was clearing out a unit that the owner had passed away & we were told to throw everything away, needless too say I didn't throw away the coins! I believe this is called Hub Doubling, the S on Pluribus you can also see the backside of the S doubled.

I'm not seeing a DDO / DDR here, but that is a nice die chip on the 'S'
I'm going to have to research DDO for this year.

The images you provided aver very nice and clear and close, but you are not showing any of the location that would show a DDO, such as Liberty and the motto 'IGWT'
In addition I cannot find any listings toy a DDR on a cent of this year/Mint.

I'm seeing a die chip on the S. Otherwise--given the images posted--I believe we're looking at a common 1960 D (large date) memorial cent--perhaps in very early stages of Die Deterioration.

I agree with all of the above. What are you using to take photos?

Thanks for the welcome guys & I'm using a Leipan USB Microscope, I am almost certain it's a1960-D Large date, comparing it to the 1960-D DDO-001, 1-O-III & RPM-100 it has a lot of the same character traits! I have to shrink the pictures they are way to big for here, I'm Taking a few close ups & will update the post!

@roc, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'm also struggling to see this being a doubled die. Perhaps the best aspect for comparison I can find is the zero in the date. For the DDO you reference, it is extra fat along a north-south axis and I'm not seeing that on your coin. Perhaps it is more obvious with the coin in hand? I look forward to some additional pictures and further discussion.

What makes the metal move towards the closest rim? That is extreme die wear. The devices are no hub doubled, but just extreme die wear.

Note on the listing:

Quote:
Description: Strong spread on date and South on B of LIBERTY.
Comments: Small date / Large date. Obverse is LISTED as RPM-100. FS-101/501

On the Real deal, there is a small date hub used and a large date hub used. Making the Last digit huge and there is also a RPM on the the coin.

Your coin is just a normal die example.

to the CCF and 001 has an almost complete D to the north of the MM. Not seeing anything unusual on your coin.
