Hey all, newbie here. I have a 1911 $20 st Gaudens with motto from my collection and I can see it has hairlines on it when I direct it to the right light. I was going to get it graded and heard that sometimes they still get normal graded depending on certain things but I thought I'd ask you fine experts. Looks like it was done with a cloth. Will this get graded anything if not UNC Details cleaned? And will it be worth anything besides market gold weight? Thanks!

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Definitely looks harshly cleaned, and it would not straight grade at a TPG. Probably would not add any value by getting it graded (other than authentication).

That coin appears to have been harshly cleaned. IMO having it certified as such by a TPG wouldn't add any value.

It's harshly cleaned, it basically worth the gold value now, it won't get any jump by having it graded.

It wouldn't straight grade due to a harsh clean.
Just worth the metal value
