I was fortunate to pick up another beautiful British coin. This time it is a toned 1893 Six Pence which has been graded "Proof 65+" by NGC. It has deep blue, purple and gold toning over its silver surfaces.
With the toning, it's hard to get a good photo of the shimmering proof surfaces, but I did my best to get one. Unfortunately, the NGC holder has quite a few marks on it, so I may send this in for a reholder sometime in the future.
Victoria's "veiled head" coins are my favorite British coin design, so I am happy to have been able to add this one to my collection.
