Lennox type 3b, having the flower privy mark both sides, six strings to the harp, and reverse inverted. Scarce in this condition?
Another for an Everson attribution if you would please John. Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is one of the most common in good condition. I have 3 of them and I wasn't trying. There's also a (common) version with a die break over the obverse flower which also seems to come in great condition. Everson Lennox 2 25, S 2678.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's only second most common to the Rose 4b 206a, which makes up half of all Rose farthings, but is usually awful.

Cooke rates as 'rare' but, pinch of salt etc...
Another which can go then. I have two or three others I have in the pile designated 'undecided' which I'll put on here in the coming days.
Thank you as always John.

Perhaps common, but a nice example.

Yes Everson rates it common, although his common ranges from those available by the ton to coins I have never seen. Lennox farthings are generally quite easily obtainable. There aren't many varieties or privy marks (comparatively) and they were made pretty well. Most rarities are what you might call specialist - 5 or 7 strings on the harp or a missing colon.
