While scoping quarters from the coin jar today I came across this America the beautiful series 2014 D Colorado "Great Sand Dunes". From the research I've done as of June 2023 " there are no major error varieties of this coin." I believe it could be a "die crack" similar to the 1999 "Spitting Horse" quarter or the 2005 "Speared Bison" nickel. Opinions?

I see a scratch and a reed mark. If it was a Die Crack, it would be raised, not incuse. PMD.

Take a stick and run it through the sand, see the trench with mounds of sand along side it? That is what you have, a mound of metal along side of a trench which is a scratch.
