Hi,

An other one pick from this week. Found it by accident. In Charlton they call RPT (repunched T). In my understanding, repunched is used for using the same letter and witness of previous strikes can be seen. In this case, they also call it repunch even if the letter is a complete different design compare to normal T?

Yes, this is in Turner's book (Dies & Diadems) with the 1891 Obv's & Rev's. It used a T with a font from the PEI cents and was used on about 25% of the SD/SL '91's. It is Obv die O2Y-S2.
