2008-W Reverse of 2007 MS70 First Releases. Grabbed off an ebay Live auction for $80.00 because seller clearly didn't know what he had. Steal of the year.

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year and/or Mintmark and/or Denomination to Title. It's essential to have it in the title. ***

to the CCF

Show us an image of the obverse - it's good practice to show both sides of the coin.

We have lots of ASE fans here so I'm sure they would enjoy taking a look.

Really nice deal you got for that coin.

I was able to pick one up that was NGC MS69 for $100 a few years ago, the seller had five listed for sale. I made an offer for $100 thinking it'll get rejected but he accepted it.

I'm trying to decide on collecting all the type 1 burnish varieties but the more I look into it, the cost makes me cringe and not go through with it.

Check my math, for type 1 it's 15 coins.
2006, 07, 08, 08 rev of 2007, 2011,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,2020, all West Point, plus 2011S from the 25th anniversary set. Could add the Enhanced Uncirculated from 2013.

How about pics from the ebay listing since the seller would have shown both the obverse and the reverse as well as the cert numbers we can look up on NGC's website (or maybe it didn't happen)

Yep, those are it. I'm thinking some of those being slabbed as MS69 are cheaper than those in the original packaging. Since I'm putting them all in a Dansco album, I might just grab the cheaper slabs since the OGP doesn't matter to me. Still I need to get 13 of those years. I have the 2008 reverse of 2007 and the 2011-S and 2011-W from the 25th anniversary set. They are all slabbed NGC MS69. Don't know if it's worth cracking the 2008 rev 2007 and the 2011's out of the slabs though...
