Another try Moe! for the 7th hint x+1.35 = primetime where 1.35 refers to the 1.35 Magic coin trick. comprising of two 50c coins, one dime and one quarter totaling $1.35 Then removing one 50c to leave behind supposedly $0.85 but then nothing is left, only the 50cent coin - direct hint to denomination where primetime is the show for the 1.35 coin magic trick and X refers to a 50c coin (capped bust) equation conversion: Capped bust coin 50cent + 1.35 Magic coin trick = Prime time show the others 1. Hint "Chang" for the siamese twins for "half" 2. Hint "1776" For the country - continental USA just starting 3. Hint Cezzane painting- for the year of the coin 1839, the painter was born 1839 4. Hint "MSY" for the mintmark O Orleans (airport code for New Orleans) 5. Words meaning of halves - for the coin denomination 6. Bandana hint for the "capped" bust coin headgear

1. Chang Bunker, half of the siamese twins (half dollar) 2. 1776 refers to birth of nation US (U.S coin) 3. painting by Cezanne who was born 1839 (year on coin) 4. MSY = airport code for New Orleans (mint mark) 5. Hints (hemisphere, yin, etc) examples of halves (half dollar) 6. bandana on lady refers to figure on (Capped Bust half)
Here's another attempt at #7
x = .50 (refers to half dollar) x + 1.35 = 1.85 which is the "aspect ratio" (1.85:1 width-height of image) used in the film/TV industry.

prime time...The term prime time is often defined in terms of a fixed time period, for example, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Quote: prime time is often defined in terms of a fixed time period, for example, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm This is true and is referring to the correct part of the equation.

ok well here is one more stab at it x + 1.35 = prime time. lets say that when you posted this topic... it was 7:43pm... army time = 19:43 x=19.43-1.35= 1808.. the year when the US mint, hired John Reich to design the new half dollars and half eagles.. I know this was strething it.. but I you have stumped me on the prime time numbers.. not sure what else they could be

SDCoinguy! You definitely on the right track. But the answer you last gave is not correct.
Hint: You are trying to solve for x (just like High School algebra!) And of course, once solved, the answer then gives you a hint about the coin in question.

#7 ok ok ... x+1.35=prime time
prime time starting at 8pm.
x=8-1.35= 6.65 being half(half dollar) the weight of the coin 13.36 grams... but half of 13.36 is 6.68... only off by 3 1/100th's/// lol

this is a tough one Moe, allow me to try again Quote: Hint: You are trying to solve for x (just like High School algebra!) And of course, once solved, the answer then gives you a hint about the coin in question.
X+1.35 = Primetime : there are 3 numeric values; unknown x, a constant 1.35 and Primetime= 3hours equation transposition: x + 1.35 = 3 x = 3-1.35 = 1.65 Looking at the number 1.65 in ounces (oz) is also = 50cc or 50mL 1.65 Oz = 50 cc where 50 is direct hint on halve value 50c of coin the others 1. Hint "Chang" for the siamese twins for "half" denomination 2. Hint "1776" For the country - USA - just starting 3. Hint Cezzane painting- for the year of the coin 1839, the painter was born 1839 4.
