You can buy the boxes and the cards for the GSA dollars....but I have never seen a holder offered. NGC (I think) graded them and stuck their label right on the holder. Some of them are not numbered also...and this one is, so that's a plus too.

I too have hit on some of the BINs - but that is a catch at $48. Even in VG that is a $90+ coin.

Folks hate ebay....I love it.

I like ebay also. I know this isn't a coin but I just had a major score with a set of headers for the camaro we are restoring. they are Dynomax 87733 headers and the things cost around $1100.00 and I got a new set for $330.00 shipped

I used to buy and sell 1949 Buick parts on ebay and did very well with that. I was restoring a 49 Roadmaster...and one thing led to another, and soon I had a whole room full of parts. That stuff's all gone now, but it was fun.

Ain't hobby creep wonderful? A few years back, I lucked into an old NEC PC-8201. It was such a fun little toy that I looked for another. Eventually, it became this:

I had this shot glass, you see? Well, here's one wall now....

Man you got a great deal. Red Book lists price for an 1883-CC Morgan in VF-20 for $135.

Awesome deal!

The GSA dollar arrived this morning. I would give it a 62 because of all of the scarring on the obverse near the chin and neck. What do you think?

Love those gsa dollars, especially for 48 bucks!

As for the grade, from the pics I would agree with the ms62 if it wasn't a cc. With the cc bump, she'd probably grade ms63.

I think it has a good shot at 63. Seems most of these GSA Morgans are 62 or 63 and I've seen worse in 63 holders.

MS63- or MS62+
