Really? I was just going to buy a box... :(

Anyways, 2001Ds were NIFC, so I don't think the mint would sell them as direct ship.

Where those the rolls selling for around $37 from the mint ? Are you seeing any value in buying the rolls ? Are you turning them around as BU singles and selling them ?

the ones I had ordered looked like garbage, I only managed to pull 2 or 3 nice ones out of the whole box of 250, most looked like they had been soaked in water or something then dried out again.

The second box I got most coins were very spotted. The first box was very nice.

No these were at face value from the "Direct Ship Program"

When they were selling them back in the years before the direct ship program they were $37, but those rolls were in US Mint paper wrappers. The direct ship dollars are not. And the 2001 D dollars were not NIFC or NCLT. There was just such a backlog of 2000 Sac dollars in the vaults that not a lot of them were distributed.

I've found a number of 2001-D Sac's in my Denver Light Rail change
(all in typical circulated condition), including one last week!

I was going to get a box, but a local coin dealer I know got a box,
and they looked like they had been underwater for the last nine years!
