dafney e New Member United Kingdom 24 Posts	Posted 05/31/2010 08:33 am Hi again, As you mat be able to see I am new to the whole coin collecting and I need some help. Just needing a rough guide on a selection of good metal detectors (not to expensive as I'm on a low wage) to help me find some maby lost treasures. Coinage123 Valued Member United Kingdom 449 Posts	Posted 06/03/2010 2:41 pm Hi, nice to see a metal detectorist from the UK! if you google joan allen there is a selection of good metal detectors on there, I personally would recommend a Minelab as I have a E-Trac myself. Also if you are on a budget the garrett 250 is also a good one. Report this Post to the Staff
wolf-n-wa Pillar of the Community United States 602 Posts	Posted 06/03/2010 9:37 pm Depends on your budget. An ACE-250 could be had for @ $250. Or you can find some really nice detectors for @ $500.
