I finally found one here on the USA East Coast (outside of Baltimore MD).

Not too baggy, 6 full steps, but alas those swirling coin counter marks on the obverse.

I still believe that soon these will be common finds ...... worth 5 cents each.

Who else has come up with a roll find 2009-D? Where is your approximate location?

I got a 2009-D nickle last night with no swirling coin counter marks at a fast food drive through should I save it ? I know they were hard to acuire awhile back.

I picked up a new box of nickels yesterday and went through 10 rolls last night watching TV with my wife. Suddenly, there they were - (3) 2009-D. Only one was worth keeping, one looked like it had spent some time rolling around a busy parking lot and the other had a huge gash running across Jefferson's face.
