So I've been doing a little roll seaching and been pulling out all the 2002 to 2010 p&d and also a few proofs. Is there any premium to these coins since they are not unc. anymore?

I have seen on some online price sheet someone posted a link to on a grey sheet thread that had them not going for any premium
maybe in the future?
I'm not entirely sure
I save mine because I don't search boxes so they are rare to me when I'm only searching customer wrapped and loose bank stacks

I hang on to them, but I have less than a roll of extra NIFC and only 2 circulated half dollar proofs so it's not much of a burden on me yet.

I am going to have to start unloading some of my pre-1960 nickels though.

I have 6 rolls of NIFC and I figure with mintage in the 2-3 million range, I figure why not hold onto them.

I save em' all too. I have a decent amount of NIFC's as a result.

I would agree that the "here & now" prices aren't much if anything, but they're still too new to even expect anything extra for them right now. I look more "down the line"......like 20 to 30 years from now. At this point in the future, there MAY be a nice premium for these, especially if they stop making them altogether in the next few years.

Kennedy collectors years from now, will put a premium on these business strikes, I bet. And remember, the Uncirculated ones in the Sets that everybody gets nowadays, are not business strikes, they are "Satin Finish", which is a different coin.......
So, there are several interesting curiosities to have reasons to save them, in my opinion.

As far as "circulated" Proofs........You just have to save those ! They'll NEVER have the value of a pristine example taken from a Proof Set, of course, but there should be something above face value for them, at some point......but even if there isn't, I could just never let a circulated Proof coin slip through my fingers, knowingly, and return it to circulation.

Generally, it'll always be looked at by me as "a find" when I come across a NIFC or a Proof, while roll searching, the "premium" or "quick turnaround money" is just not that important to me I guess.
I even have that attitude towards any junk Silver that I come by, though, given the prices of Silver right now, it's very tempting to part it ! ...
