Diagnostically, I do not believe it is a regal half penny due to the '2' on the reverse. Most likely a 1772 contemporary counterfeit British half penny; but not a Machin's Mills. The reverse does not match Vlack's 72A, 72B, or 72C. It is not an Anton/Kesse-83 either, the last stop on the reverse is in the wrong place.
