The Royal Mint have announced a new Royal Wedding, as opposed to an ugly £5 engagement coin or any other random event. However they forgot one small detail of the coin, the image!!

A nice little thing saying "Final design awaiting royal approval", unless I am to assume that this is the final design, slightly different and avoids having an ugly portrait which is a bonus!

Good, that thing they initially approved gave me the creeps. I couldn't believe they were even thinking about releasing that ugly design.

That one was released, it was for Alderny or somewhere like that. That was the engagement coins. This new one is the wedding coin! But as I do not collect non-circulating coins I do not have to care!

What more can I say? the design is out and not much better than the last one! They should have let me design it!
