regularguy Valued Member United States 187 Posts	Posted 03/26/2011 09:10 am I have 40 1976 $2 bills. A few are still nice and crispy, but none are worn or torn. Is there any thing I should look for before I send them to the bank? Report this Post to the Staff

jlg1130 Valued Member United States 102 Posts	Posted 03/26/2011 12:25 pm Before you turn them in, go through them, and check for star notes (star at end of serial#) low serials, and fancy serials. Also, you could head over to https://www.uspapermoney.info, to check the print runs, to see if any of them are from a particularly low run. Good luck! I hope you find something interesting. This is some of her collection that she is selling or turning in to pay a tax bill. I am not happy that she is doing it, but you married guys know that if she wants to do something she is going to do it. I can only try to help her get the best price for her coins and paper money.
