did not notice any splitting on this one, but thought I would ask. The date above is definately MD. The "S" looks a little different though so thought I would ask the pro's before I pass it over.

Were you able to match any of the die markers?

where did you go on that site to pull up the other photo's of the coin. I am apparently missing out on some good info there. I go to variety search but it only shows one pic of the coins, I cannot find the section you went to.

tershaffer, when you pull up the 1968-S mint mark varieties, click on the marker photos for the coin you want...in this case the 1968S-1MM-002...the others don't have pics at this time.

Have you tried clicking on the MDS (mid-die state) link?
