I'm new to this, any suggestions on how to clean this up? Or leave it the way it is?

DO NOT CLEAN IT. It is a nice coin, you deplete any value it might have!

Thanks eric273,
Been going through my grandfathers collection that was left to me and I was worried over time it might get worse. Since I am really new to this wasnt sure if there was a better way to preserve the coin. Guess when my grandfather was collecting over the years he didnt know that cleaning was a bad idea. Shiney and new was his philosophy. But on this book I was lucky to see he didnt.

G-4, not worth the effort of conservation, these are pretty common. If it has sentimetal value, just put it in a 2x2 and store it properly.

I'd leave it the way it is.
