Quick Statehood Silver Proof Question

lukkyseven Pillar of the Community United States 880 Posts	Posted 08/14/2011 09:47 am I know the silver proofs for the statehood and ATB are 90% silver, but is that the same silver content as pre 64s? I can't find the weight of the statehoods vs 32-64 quarters. I'm really just trying to figure out if melt value is the same. Report this Post to the Staff

Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 08/14/2011 10:19 am I don't know the weight of each of them but if you have one of each I would just weigh them and see if they weigh the same, if they do 90% is 90% so the silver value would be the same. D0ubl3Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 5854 Posts	Posted 08/14/2011 11:33 am I was looking through the RedBook and under the specifications it says the silver proof Statehood Quarters have the same standards as pre-1965 quarters. It doesn't say for the ATB Quarters but I would assume they are the same as the silver proof Statehood Quarters. Report this Post to the Staff
