I can see how you thought it was slightly rotated but that was just the way I scanned the coin :) The error I see is that the coin has been stamped off centre leaving the collar with an extra line. Nevol Formerly nancyc Australia 5385 Posts	Posted 10/07/2011 8:00 pm I found both $1 and $2 coins in 1999 were often struck with slightly mis-aligned dies. Very common that year for some strange reason. There was one ebay seller at the time trying to sell the $2 coins as "Mule like" coins and heaps of people were paying big bucks for them. Plenty Cuds in the central design of the $1 reverse too, plus some reverse rim Cuds in the 8.00 - 10.30k position. life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved Report this Post to the Staff

I can see how someone would think they are mule like - I find some that look so close to a mule I find it hard to put it back into circulation just in case Report this Post to the Staff
