What kind of error is this. I am new to the error coin collecting world and have found a lot of them in general circulation. Could someone please help me out with this.

to CCF. If the edge of the coin has no dent by the raised area then it looks like a rim Cud if there is a dent then it is just damage.

It does look dented and therefore is post mint damage (PMD.)
