Cleaning Notes - Coin Community Forum

Ferret Lord Valued Member United States 218 Posts	Posted 03/22/2007 10:38 pm okay, I know of course you don't clean coins in 99.9% of the cases. What about paper? Here's the situation. My better half did a very good thing today. Someone came into the gas station she works at and paid for their gas with 2 1953 and 1 1934 silver certificates. She snagged em right up and brought them home. They are not in bad shape but seem a little dirty for lack of a better term. We are not talking high dollar items so I was wondering if there is a safe way to attempt to clean one of the 53's as an experiment or should I just leave them alone? Report this Post to the Staff
