Hi all Rags here new to forum. I was looking for a group to get advice from on my coin hunting and came here. This is my first post. I have been hunting for lost tresure sunkin ship kind and today dug out of river a coin which I can't find any value for. My book says too rare. Same year obverse 2 has values but non for obverse 1. Its about a 45 on the scale of grade. My wonder is how rare and what value since book has nil in it.

Edit 1 Sorry my first error it is 1872 not 73

Hi all thanks for input and request for photo. I tried to upload photo but system said sorry too large. Can't figure way to make smaller on my blackberry.
As for question on why I think its obverse 1. I have a Charltons coin book and looked up the coin to get value. I have a very junior collection of coins and have very basic knowledge. After searching for spanish pieces of 8 in an old ship wreak I found the coin on shore in 6 inches of glay. Figured I'd look it up to see what its worth. It is as new with almost no wear. The hair wave is rather clear so I can see what appears to be the coin books discription of the obverse 1 rather then 2. The coin by its location and little wear probably did not spend much time in circulation when it was lost.
I will attempt to get photo uploaded.
