Time will tell. This is quite a common type of error and if one exists then you can bet that many more are out there to be discovered.

My "philosophical" thoughts about errors:

1. If you look for them, you will find. Corollary: they are as rare as the interest
2. The bigger the error and the coin, the more common.
3. Every error is unique. Corollary: if not unique, it is a variety.
4. Not every error is valuable. Corollary: just because it is an error, the value of the coin is not increased.
and finally
5. Error coins are defective coins. Corollary: not everybody likes them.

Thank you for your answer, yes Libertad time will tell.

For t_y, on my part I like the ERRORS; the Doubled; especially when it comes to dates Doubled.

Sorry for my english, I use google translation.

I have 6 packs of the 2012 $2coins.Out of 30 coins there was only 3 coins that match yours. The 3 coins come from the same pack. It is interesting only 1 letter looks re punched with all the rest consecutively bounce in the same direction. This leads me to think it is machine bounce.
