Fresh back from ICCS. My scanner can't capture the luster properly unfortunately.

Hard to grade them because of the scan.
What did ICCS grade them?
They look nice!

Sorry the scans aren't that great to really view them....the 1913 HS $10 is an ICCS MS 62, while the 1914 is a PS and came back MS63

Glad to see ICCS is being conservative on these.... I have seen worse MS-64 coins in PCGS holders...

How are you going to grade these... the grade is covered over...

ICCS, is sometimes 'conservative' a bit too much.

Nice ones.

I haven't read the million posts on the topic of these coins and hope I am not being too lazy in the following question but here goes;
I am somewhat interested in the gold coins pulled from the 'vault' and am entertaining the thought of acquiring one.
I noticed that there are a couple of 1913 and 1914 left on RCM.

Any opinion on the average grade coming from these. At $1000.00 hand selected am I spinning the wheel of luck with a huge gamble?
Considering the absence of grading with these coins from RCM, am I better to look at another market? If so where?

I am not risk averse but also not that experienced.

I know there are many more factors but these questions are nagging me.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Average grades for a Hand Select are MS 62, Premiums Select MS 63, Premium Select Sets MS 64. From my experience of 8 coins graded by ICCS:
3 x 62 HS
1 x 63 HS
3 x 63 PS
1 x 64 PS

while the Premium coins come in a nice maple wood box I've had the worse luck with them. While with the hand select I got a $5 1914 that has by far the best luster I've ever seen on any of these hoard coins and came back as a M64.

Since you're interested in the $10 pieces i'd go for the hand select and not the hand select. As Spp-Ottawa said, its not like PCGS or NGC hand selected or "premium hand select" these coins. It was the mint staff.
