Favorite Bill Or Note

I like the "Educational" Bill. I don't have one, but it truly a work of art. I don't have the site that posted it since I got my new computer. 8(

My favourite note, from an Inverness bank, Caledonian Banking Co. £1 dated 1891. My Scots ancestors came from Inverness in the 1740's so I particularly favour this note as a piece of "home".

One learned much from a careful study, so it is an educational note. But really they were called educational notes because the whole series, of $1, 2, and $5 were based on historical precedence and educating and leading youth. The $5 was disliked by the fine ladies of Boston because of the Au Natural expression of feminine wonderment on the front of that note, and as a result the whole series was shortlived and replaced in 1899.

Though I am also a fan of the 'Educational' notes, I would like someday to obtain a partial set ($5 $10 $20 $50 $100) of the Series 1914 Large Size Federal Reserve Notes. I just love the vignettes (I think that's the term) on the back of the bills. Beautiful artistry, in my opinion. Sorry but I don't have any pictures of these to post.
