Having just received the 1983-P Souvenir Set today, I've been checking out the attention grabbing large tokens included in these Sets, and learned a bit about Mint Set tokens in general.
From 1959 to 1972 the token was a plastic disk about the size of a Quarter, one for each Mint.

No tokens were included in regular US Mint Sets from 1973 to 1981.
P&D US Mint Sets were not produced in 1982 and 1983.From 1984 through 1999, P&D Sets included tokens struck on US Cent planchets, again, one for each Mint.

Mint Set collectors can cover the 1982-83 gap in production with Souvenir Sets, only originally sold in the respective Mints' gift shops. Souvenir Sets have a single large bronze token, slightly larger than a Half Dollar's 30.6mm, at about 33.7mm.
The Denver Mint's token features the Denver Mint.

The Philadelphia Mint's token is dated August 14, 1969 to commemorate the opening of the latest Mint there, and an image of the Mint. The site states the present Mint represents Philadelphia's 4th MOVE, but from what I can determine, there have 'only' been four locations, so it has only moved three times.

Description of the Reverse from the US Mint Website: "The reverse of the medal features our national emblem, the Eagle, with the wings displayed. The balanced scales of Justice, and the key denoting an office of state have been a part of the Treasury Department seal since its use by the Board of Treasury under the Articles of Confederation. In the eagle's right talon is the olive branch, symbolic of peace. The stars on the United States map denote locations of the 17 mint institutions, past and present, which have played a part in our Nation's history since establishment of the Mint and a national coinage system in 1792."

While I was scoping this out, my search engine led me to the US Mint website, where I was a bit amazed to find you can buy a reduced size of this token, measuring 15/16ths of an inch, or 23.8mm in diameter for the princely price of $45.00.
