antwerpen2306 Pillar of the Community Belgium 1194 Posts	Posted 01/03/2014 2:18 pm this medal celebrates the crowning of Joseph II - the austrian emperor 1765/1790 - as king of Rome beginning April 1764 I have a problem with the inscription in exergue.I read ; ovebant ordine(s) (n)amurcenses .I don t understand the word ovebant , or maybe it an error for' ovabant' and then it is to translate.Is there any other solution? I believe the legend is in reference to Joseph's title of Count of Namur, and should read VOVEBANT ORDINES NAMURCENCES.
