Actually, it's from the reign of the Qian Long emperor (1735-1796). The top pic is upside-down. I would also diagree as to mint attribution; it's hard to read on this coin, but I believe the Manchu mint-name is actually "chuwan", not the "chiowan" of the Revenue mint; it is therefore from the Chengdu mint in Sichuan Province. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff

Sap Moderator Australia 16883 Posts	Posted 02/01/2014 11:10 pm While it is not the most common cash coin - the Revenue Mint examples of Qian Long are far more common - it is nevertheless a cheap, common type, of the kind you are likely to find in a coin dealer's "Chinese coins - $2 each" bucket.
