I have this 1944s penny it looks to me like the "s" is upside down, can someone let me know if it is, and is it worth anything.

Looks to be a normal Straight Serif mint mark. Not inverted.

"The round part is always on the bottom" Is what I learned here...

So that is the normal font

Here is a larger image of 005:

That is the common one for that year. The ball serif is harder to find.
