I was just wondering if this penny is an error coin, or is other the way I took the picture that made it seem this way? I'm new, and am just now learning ,.so can someone please help me. Thank you.

Try taking a picture of the coin straight on instead of having the coin on an angle. It should determine if it's doubling or if it's just the lighting.

It's best to focus on the area in question,the date for example or mint mark. It's also preferable to post pics in the proper position.Your white balance look a little off too.
FYI:coppercoins.com does not list a DD for 1980-D
