OcalaFlorida Pillar of the Community United States 2824 Posts	Posted 07/12/2014 03:41 am grease on the t the S is like that on the bottom on alot of examples I seen from this date I went through a bunch of rolls looking for the inverted mm and a high percentage had a space between the ball or straight serif and a bunch had the mint mark go on a angle into the coin like it was misaligned on angle. there is also a inverted mint mark for that date with separated ball serif which that is not there was also master die doubling on nose, lips, chin, throat, chest and bow tie. 1944 S Mintmark Styles Ball Serif S / Straight Serif S Edited by OcalaFlorida 07/12/2014 03:43 am Report this Post to the Staff
