Ahab8 New Member United States 36 Posts	Posted 03/05/2015 8:44 pm Hey guys my name is Abe and I live in a very old area in midcoast Maine. I started detecting about a year and a half ago. I am totally addicted! I have always loved colonial history and try to concentrate on pre 1800s sites. In November my dreams came true and I dug a beautiful 1652 Pine Tree Shilling. About 4' away I dug a 1664 Potosi mint cob. I'm really happy to be part of this forum and it's obvious that there's lots of very knowledgeable folks on here. I will be paying attention and trying to learn as much as possible. Once in a great while I might even have something intelligent to add lol Report this Post to the Staff
