Someone Turned In A "Dollar Coin" At The Bank.

And I'm pretty lucky if the banks have any $2 bills...

That's ironic. I went to two banks today and asked for $2 bills. They usually have none, but the first bank had about $20 worth of them, and my pickup bank had $52 worth of them. While the young lady who had $52 worth of $2's went back to the vault, she said she can "trust me" with me looking at the stack, probably because I'm a long time customer LOL!

This hobby sure has benefits. No Red seals or anything, but I did score a $2 2003 A Cleveland Ohio in about AU that my buddy needs.

My grandmother left me quite a few 90% silver coins (2 1964 Kennedy halves and 5 Franklin halves) 2 red seal $2 bills ( a 1953 and a 1963A) and about 7 1$ silver certificate and 2 1976 2$ bills (I can get pictures up of the bills if asked) dollars when she passed away 3 years ago.
