Sorry but these images do not seem to help any. Try tipping the coin at a slight angle toward your light source. I like to place my light overhead (sometimes very low and other times very high) directly in front of the coin (not to the side). I use a standard goose-neck desk lamp like you see in office supply stores for about $10 or $20 from which I remove the shield for shooting through a sterioscope. When shooting directly through a camera, I place the lighting to the side and often bounce the light off a piece of glass (taken from a picture frame) held at about a 45 degree angle. This is called axial lighting and reduces the need for two lamps -- though I do use two when necessary.
