They very crudely copy the design of coins of ancient Israel struck during the First Jewish Revolt in AD 66-70. This website tells their story. The first coin is too blurry to see properly, but from the portrait visible in the first pic, I would assume that it's a "tourist copy" of an ancient Greek coin. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
