Hope the pictures are OK .This a set of American minted coins during war war 2 when we occupied the Philippians .My dealer body got a sack of these and picked out the best ones and sold them for about melt price $2.50 there 90% silver for this set of 5,10,20,50 Centavos .Just wanted share a little part of history .

The US issued Phillipines coins from that year are 0.750 silver . and the 5 centavos is copper/nickel.

They are listed in the RedBook,, I have collected these type coins for several years ,,they are a really nice piece of history .

My dealer body lied .Still like the set and thank you metalman for the info. .Still cant figure out this picture thing.

The earlier 50 centavos and Peso coins from 1903- 1906 are 0.900 silver ,, there are also 0.800 silver phillipines Peso's ,, the Peso from 1936 is 0.900 silver .
