Please help with grading this 1959 LMC.

In my mind, either VF30 or EF40 and Red?

With all do respect ,there is nothing here worth grading .
Common coin, numerous hits, dirty, and lots of marks .
AU-50 Details only because you requested a grade .

The "scruffiness" is mainly a toning issue(spittle spots, fingerprints, etc), this coin is solidly AU. The coin is Red-Brown but a lot closer to Red than Brown, something you would not see on a coin worn below AU. The original red patina is the first thing that disappears in circulation.

AU Details, but I don't see how this is worth more than a penny.

Thanks all. This is my best looking 1959 LMC.

I just wanted to know if the rest would agree with what I was thinking in terms of grading.

Forgot to mention that you guys were generous on the grading, I thought maybe because the wear on the hair would give this coin a VF maybe EF, but didn't think AU even. The red or red-brown is just the color, and I was focusing more on the details and wear. If the coin was brown, then the scuffing wouldn't be as visible have a better eye appeal, IMO.

As a newbie, I haven't come across many 1959 LMC that was this red before, only the brownest of the browns.

Save up a few bucks and go to a local coin shop. You can buy real nice examples for like 25 cents.
